A. Drive up Highway 24 from Sigurd, Utah toward Capitol Reef. Take the turnoff to Fishlake (near mile marker 40) and drive about 4-5 miles to the turnoff in the picture.
B. There is a shorter way if you turn off of hwy 24 at Brown's lane (about mile marker 35) and head up the dirt road. When you get to the end of the road, turn left.
C. This is the only tricky turn. It will be at a switchback about 6-7 miles from the paved road.
D. Watch for the stack of rocks (not the guy on top of the rocks) and take a left.
E. The road up to launch should be visible when you pass the first grove of trees.


Bob came to visit from Texas to learn mountain flying. We had a marvelous time except for one tree.
